We collect information you provide when activating a license or contacting support: name and email address.
Your information is used to process licenses, provide support, send product updates (with your consent), and improve the Software.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties except as required to comply with legal obligations.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data. However, no online transmission is 100% secure.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at cabinetdesigner.global@gmail.com.
Only if you tick the consent box (in the first-run licence screen, in Settings → Privacy, or in the occasional feedback prompt), Cabinet Designer (Full and Demo editions) sends usage statistics: your country (the ISO code of your Windows region setting — the IP address is not used), the program version and edition (Full or Demo), operating system and technical characteristics of the computer (screen resolution, memory), the interface language, the number and length of sessions, the date and time of use, the features used (which commands and settings are used, how often, and — for each machine program generated — the cabinet type, construction options and catalogue hardware articles involved, never dimensions or names), the warnings and errors shown (the message template only, without values) and timings such as startup and program generation.
These statistics are filed under a random installation code generated on your computer when you consent. The code is not derived from your licence, your hardware, your name or your e-mail address, and is shown in Settings → Privacy. We never collect project files, the contents of designed furniture, names, e-mail addresses or the IP address.
Optional link to your licence: by default the statistics are not connected to your licence. Only if you tick a separate option, never pre-selected (in the licence activation window or in Settings → Privacy, Full edition only), they are also filed under a short code derived from your licence (for example 3F9A2-C71B0, shown in Settings → Privacy), so that we know which licence they belong to and can help you better. The code reveals neither your hardware nor your name; the link to you exists only in our own licence records. The legal basis is the same consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Untick the option at any time: the app asks the server to erase the licence code from all your records, which stay filed under the random installation code only.
Purpose and legal basis: understanding how much and how the Software is used, in order to improve it; based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The Software works identically without it.
Storage: the data is stored in a private Google Sheets spreadsheet (Google LLC) and kept for at most 24 months after the last transmission, then deleted automatically.
Withdrawal and erasure: untick the box in Settings → Privacy at any time. Transmission stops immediately and the app asks the server to delete every record linked to your installation code; a later consent creates a new code. You may also request access to or deletion of these records by writing to cabinetdesigner.global@gmail.com and quoting the installation code.
A Full licence is tied to the computer it was issued for. If the app finds a genuine licence that was issued for a different computer — because the licence folder was copied to another PC, or someone else’s unlock file was loaded in the activation window — it reports this to our server once, even without the statistics consent. The report contains only: the short licence code (for example 3F9A2-C71B0), a code derived one-way from the computer’s hardware identifier (from which neither the identifier nor the hardware can be recovered), the kind of event, the program version and your country (the ISO code of your Windows region setting). No names, e-mail addresses, IP address or files are sent.
Purpose and legal basis: protecting the licence against unauthorised copies, our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); it is declared in the licence agreement (section 3). Storage: the same private Google Sheets spreadsheet, kept for at most 24 months and then deleted automatically. You may request access to or deletion of these records by writing to cabinetdesigner.global@gmail.com.
